# 6) RUNTS

Il registro unico nazionale del Terzo settore (Runts) rappresenta una delle novità più importanti della riforma del Terzo settore poiché la sua istituzione ha come obiettivo innanzitutto il superamento dell’attuale sistema di registrazione degli enti, caratterizzato da una molteplicità di registri la cui gestione è affidata alle Regioni e alle Province autonome.

L’iscrizione al Runts avrà efficacia costitutiva in relazione all’acquisizione della qualifica di ente del Terzo settore (Ets): **detto in altre parole, per diventare Ets sarà necessario iscriversi in tale registro.**

Il registro ha inoltre una fondamentale funzione di trasparenza e di certezza del diritto, specie riguardo ai terzi che entrano in rapporto con gli Ets stessi.

**L’iscrizione nel Runts dà diritto ad accedere alle agevolazioni (soprattutto di carattere fiscale) previste per il Terzo settore.**
